EYE PROTECTION

They are safety glasses, goggles, and face shields.Safety Glasses: Safety glasses have shatter-resistant lenses made of materials like polycarbonate or propionate plastic with side shields. They are designed to stop large, physical objects such as wood chips from injuring your eyes


Essential for protecting eyes from foreign objects and infectious materials entering the eye. They are used together with other personal protective equipment for maximum protection.

Eye protection consists of:

SAFETY SPECTACLES

  • Fitted with metal/plastic safety frames
  • Sometimes they are used with face shields
  • Needed for moderate impact from particles from woodworks, carpentry, scaling among others.

GOGGLES

  • They protect the eyes, eye sockets and the facial region immediately surrounding the eyes.
  • Special goggles can be won over prescription lens
  • Protect against dust, impact and splashes.

FACESHIELDS

  • They protect the whole face from: splashes, dust, sprays and hazardous liquids
  • DO NOT protect against impact hazards
